Assuming the world doesn’t end this year you’ll be able to celebrate survival by taking part in the Aussie Millions in 2013. Yes it’s early but now is the time to start planning your trip to Melbourne so book yourself a month off work at your earliest opportunity.
2013 Aussie Millions
The Aussie Millions is, in our humble opinion, just about the best run and most enjoyable stop on the international poker circuit and for most of you reading this it will be quite a trek, hence the need for a month to fully enjoy yourself. Pick up a few dollars at the tables this week and you might even be able to fly 1st class. Even if you don’t, for European players at least, the January trip will offer a welcome break from the winter cold.
There’s a nice mixture of game types and formats across the 26 events and, unlike the WSOP, there are rebuy tournaments which makes a nice change. Buy-ins range from $500 to $250,000.
