Event #24 Omaha Hi Low – The Mouth blows

The WSOP Event #24, the $5,000 Omaha Hi Low tournament is down to the last 27 players and could provide a great Final Table as well as Phil Ivey’s 9th WSOP Bracelet.

Players left include old favourites Phil Ivey, Mike Matusow and the man we hope gets drunk again if he reaches the Final Table … Scotty Nguyen.

New favourites still in WSOP Event #24 include Dan Kelly and Brian Hastings.

Mike ‘The Mouth’ Matusow

@themouthmatusow laid the gauntlet down and said on Twitter …

Can Mike Matusow win Event #24? He is good at Hi Low tournaments, proven when he beat one of the toughest WSOP Final Tables that had at that time (2008) been seen – Jeffrey Lisandro, Tom Schneider, Erick Lindgren, Barry Greenstein, Tony Guoga and David Benyamine – to win the $5,000 No Limit 2-7 Draw Lowball Bracelet.

Whatever your thoughts on Mike Matusow, including his brother Scott’s, he is certainly interesting and if you follow poker players on Twitter then he should be one on your list.
