It’s what you do with it …

Size does count and it’s what you do with it that really counts, especially if you are chip leader or amongst the chip leaders in the WSOP Main Event. Day 3 of the WSOP Main Event is when the real Main Event starts, all the remaining players are in the same room and the numbers, around 150 tables means players can be watched and followed in more detail.

There are 2 things about having a massive stack, either you are going to steam roll the event like Jamie Gold or you have peaked to early, the bad beats are just around the corner and the bad luck is the next turn of the cards.

Ben Lamb is on fire at the WSOP 2011 and was chip leader on day 1b, day 2b and now on day 3. Will Ben Lamb carry on the rush and lead throughout most of the WSOP 2011 and steam roll it like Jamie Gold did?

No matter your personal opinion of Jamie Gold he absolutely destroyed that years WSOP Main Event in a manner not seen before. Players have been chip leaders before but not been the man in charge or on a rush like Jamie Gold was.

If you want to watch how Ben Lamb is doing then you can watch it free with a 30 minuted delayed ‘live stream‘ (?). Hole cards are not shown though but it is proper coverage compared to the live stream Final Tables coverage previously during the WSOP 2011. If you are paying to watch it on ESPN then you can see the players hole cards and you have a slight delay in the play.

The other interesting thing about Ben Lambs 2011 WSOP Main Event run is that he may be able to also win the 2011 WSOP Player Of the Year award. Although Phil Hellmuth is still in it but having a crazy time with his chip stack going up and down.

ben lamb wsop 2011 main event winner

Ben Lamb is playing on the 2nd featured table where all the action is. The live stream is not even covering the main featured table as there is no action happening. The 2nd featured table has 3 WSOP bracelet winners and a WSOP Main Event winner on it! Even with all the great players on the table Ben Lamb is still dominating the play and pace. Using his large stack perfectly. Although size does matter it is also what you do with it that counts.
