Legal Online US Poker Delayed ’til 2013

The Las Vegas Review Journal, in an article here, has just revealed fears that legalised federal online poker will most likely have to wait until next year.

Essentially this means that, except in Nevada where progress seems to be continuing unhindered, it will remain illegal to play online poker from the US for the remainder of 2012.

The main reason cited for this is the failure to attach an online gaming bill to the payroll tax cut extension that has now been approved by Congress and is awaiting the signature of President Obama.
