The Asian Poker Tour’s Manila Millions (Super High Roller tournament) featuring some of the top poker Superstars will be shown from tomorrow on a live feed through Upstream.
The APT Manila Millions is a HKD $1 million (USD $128,000) buy in tournament that is expected to attract players like Phil Ivey, Joe Hachem, Johnny Chan, John Juanda, Tom Dwan and others as well as Asian and local super rich businessmen.
At the moment the APT Manila Millions has a registered field of 26 players and a prize pool of over USD $3,000,000!
Live feeding the Super High Roller junkies
The Manila Millions live stream has been thrown together over the last few days so we will have to wait and see how good it is and if there are any problems. Unless it is a total disaster most poker players will love seeing the Super High Rollers doing their thing because everyone wants a piece of the action with satisfaction guaranteed.
As its a tournament the Manila Millions should not have unexpected ‘player breaks’ like the PartyPoker 48 hour Big (cash) Game that recently happened. Phil Laak destroyed the rest of those who were meant to play during a whole 48 hours of live cash game action, that turned out to be a lot less than 48 hours of live action.
At one stage it ended up with the co commentator taking his shot with Scott Baumstein playing Laak heads up! Baumstein would have fancied his chances after watching Laak muck a $60,000 pot he should have won.
