pokerQ4 are not against anyone taking drugs and doing what the fuck they like with their life – as long as it does not harm or kill innocent others – we would join Marafioti and party like its 2012 if we could and someone bankrolled the party – but we think Matt Marafioti may have taken one to many hits from the Bong with this article.
Did he not have final approval or was one of the new bad boys of poker not bothered about it and as he seems to be a bit of an attention seeker?

Will the Epic Poker League and Palms Casino Resort be pleased that the whole world now knows that Matt Marafioti was taking hits from the bong in rooms associated with them?

At these 15-minute breaks, which occurred every hour-and-a-half, Marafioti collected himself in his room at the Palms, taking hits off a large bong. The league had given him the room for the duration of the tournament, but he used it exclusively for this restorative, nerve-quieting purpose
He also rents an apartment in Las Vegas that he shares with two other young players, a furnished 5,500-square-foot suite in the Panorama … and, in the kitchen alone, three additional bongs.
He switched on his two iMacs. Fired up the bong. Took a swig from a large, blue bottle of San Benedetto water. The Internet wizard was back, conjuring cards.

The reason we have commented on this was so we could use and listen to Cyprus Hill’s Hits from the Bong (which we have been trying to work into an article) and we also get to see how the EPL Standards and Conduct Committee handle a situation like this, that they are mentioned and involved in.
When you set your self up to judge, jury and hangman of your fellow poker playing peers on not just their poker abilities but on moral and ethical things it starts to get very interesting. How can people who are ‘just’ good at poker be able to judge others in matters of life choices? No matter how upstanding and respected the members of the EPL Standards and Conduct Committee are can they, could you, judge another persons moral conduct?

We are aware of the issue raised below, have reviewed it with the Epic Poker Standards & Committee and handled the matter internally with Mr. Marafioti.
