As reported previously by pokerQ4 Ongame have created a 2nd Ongame Poker Network (Ongame2 or ON2) and also, in homage to the amazing success of the Microgaming Network Management Board, they have also formed the Ongame Advisory Board (OAB).
The OAB is a group including the most important skins on the network (those who are part of the elite Ongame2) and perhaps a few of the smaller skins.
These smaller Ongame1 (ON1) skins may not at the moment even know they are now relegated from the Ongame Network Premier League into the Ongame Network Championship.
The Ongame Advisory Board may have more to do with the need for the necessity of a Ongame Band of Brothers – since the discussion and introduction of the Ongame2 Cartel.
Perhaps the OAB was mainly to help Ongame2 come into existence and keep ON2 running smoothly? But if the Ongame Advisory Board has a few Ongame1 skins then it can be used to show pretend listening power but ignore them.
Ongame2 will look after Ongame1?
As the ON1 skins now have the OAB platform to voice their concerns then they are not being ignored. In theory. If there are more ON2 skins or they and Ongame Network itself have more voting power combined than the ON1 Network skins, then the Ongame2 Brothers in Arms can rule the roost and the Ongame1 skins would be virtually powerless.
One Ring to rule them all, One Ring to find them,
One Ring to bring them all and in the darkness bind them
What could ON1 skins threaten? To take their winning players elsewhere and in an instant improve the Ongame Networks long term poker economy?
If the Ongame Advisory Board is controlled and the voting power lays with the Ongame Network and the Ongame2 skins then what power do the Ongame1 skins have?
The OAB will in theory be directing the future development and policies of the two Ongame Networks. Yet why are Ongame2 skins going to be that concerned about Ongame1 skins? The Ongame Network itself would not have created Ongame2 if the Ongame1 skins and original network was more important.
You do not create a VIP Ongame Network then pander to the great unwashed skins that are the reason you created the VIP poker network in the first place.
It may sound like a poker conspiracy theory but will the Ongame Advisory Board be taking the Ongame1 skins to Isengard against their will?
