Kill Phil or Will Phil?

Phil Hellmuth is perhaps the greatest long term and most consistent No Limit Holdem tournament player alive. Many poker players and fans do not like the persona he has cultivated. For these people Phil Hellmuth gives them only one route of attack and that is the fact, at the moment, that he has never won a WSOP bracelet in any event other than No Limit Holdem.

phil hellmuth wsop non holdem bracelet win record 12th bracelet

Phil Hellmuth has won a record 11 WSOP bracelets but can not win a 12th WSOP bracelet at any other poker variation. Although Phil Hellmuth is giving it a great go this year with two 2nd places in non Holdem events. Will this be the year that Phil Hellmuth finally breaks his apparent curse? Or is it not a curse but the proof that he is not good enough in other events, not a master of non Holdem games when he comes up against the best?

Hellmouth, Hellmuth Jnr, Hehemuth or Behemuth?

Is he Phil Hellmouth, Hellmuth Jnr or Hehemuth at his inability, and that is the true word, to convert any of the non Holdem final tables into gold? Phil Hellmuth has 81 WSOP cashes and half of them have been in non Holdem events!

phil hellmuth 12th bracelet win but can not win no limit holdem events

Two 2nd places within a couple of weeks at non Holdem events, although heart breaking, would be OK for any other player but when the poker world and your enemies can laugh behind your back it must hurt @phil_hellmuth even more. In the $10,000 Seven Card Stud Hi-Low Split-8 or Better Phil Hellmuth was beaten by Eric Rodawig and in the $10,000 2-7 Draw Lowball Championship (No-Limit) he was beaten by John Juanda.

Or will Phil finally prove he is the Behemoth of the poker world and take down that 12th, or is it even more important, a non Holdem bracelet?
