Phil Ivey is famous for being a very private man and not taking much interest in the general happenings of other players in the poker world. A chance to communicate directly with the poker legend is one that a lot of poker fans and Phil Ivey fans will take up.
Of all the famous poker players it has to be said that following Phil Ivey on Twitter is a very big disappointment compared to a lot of the other poker pros. Ivey hardly ever tweets and it is mainly #teamIvey who do them. Also a shame that the official PhilIvey.com site is down at the moment.

Andy why start this Phil Ivey PR campaign now? Just after the poker news about PokerStars Full Tilt. Is Ivey looking to carry on as sponsored pro, raise his profile, safe to put his head above the parapets now?
What ever the reasons anything Phil Ivey does will create a lot of interest and discussion.
