Switch to iPoker: I just cannot see this happening at all. The iPoker Network is currently going through big changes in an attempt to bring in recreational players and although Betfair Poker would be able to meet the new requirements with ease, I just cannot see this move happening.
The ‘Betfair Switch to their old software’ is a nice idea and could always be a backup plan but player liquidity is everything nowadays and, from what we hear on the 5th Street, Betfair just don’t have the player numbers, especially after its players have experienced Ongames liquidity.
The cost to Befair Poker in tournament overlays and re starting those amazing rakeback deals – where everyone seemed to be on 60% rakeback or more and lots of poker affiliate players actually cost Betfair money every time they played – means it is not going to happen unless it is the very last option.
