Phil Ivey – Super High Roller Sharp Shooter

Phil Ivey – the High Stakes poker prodigal son – returns in the blaze of glory that can only happen in Hollywood movies but seems to also happen very regularly in life itself.

Phil Ivey has had an interesting year to say the least. Bring a Court Case against Full Tilt, they accusing him of only looking after himself, Ivey not playing the WSOP then all the news about his divorce settlement and financial situation. And it was his financials that really began the year for him with the rumours and questions about is Phil Ivey broke?

Not surprisingly Phil Ivey returned to the new Mecca of live poker – Macau and its High Roller tournament and its even higher cash games.

Nothing spectacular happened to Phil Ivey in Macau, that we know of, and then he was on to the Aussie Millions and the question of if Phil Ivey was broke would be truly answered as it had the $250,000 Super High Roller Challenge tournament. Would Phil Ivey play in it? Would Phil Ivey win it?

Ivey Ivey Ivey, Oi Oi Oi

Now Phil Ivey has done what Phil Ivey does best. Intimidating poker players and beating the best. Phil Ivey played the Aussie Millions and came 12th in the Aussie Millions Main Event for AUS$100,000 (US$102,947) and then entered the Aussie Millions $250,000 Super High Roller Challenge and won it and $2,000,000.

Phil Ivey is poker news and it looks like the Phil Ivey poker news gravy train is back on track and running at full steam. Phil Ivey is a Super High Roller Sharp Shooter and as he said after his Super High roller Challenge victory … “What Challenge? Check it, I’m the fucking man. I’m the Super High Roller Shooter shooting super sharp shots.”

Phil Ivey wins the Big One For One Drop?

The Phil Ivey story is now going to continue and would it be any surprise if he wins a WSOP 2012 bracelet or 3? And the real fairytale would be if Phil Ivey wins the ultimate Super High Roller tournaments, the WSOP $1 million buy in Big One For One Drop.

pokerQ4 suggested previously that 2012 would be the year of the Super High Roller tournaments and with Isildur1 winning the first Super High Roller event and Phil Ivey the next one it is proving to be so.
