World Sit & Go Masters: Prague

Just announced this week from the Microgaming Network is the World Sit & Go Masters in Prague this November. We’re often critical of this network, and they certainly give cause for criticism on a regular basis, but we really like the World Sit & Go Masters and, should you qualify through Stan James, you’ll be well looked after and your bankroll will be safe.

World Sit & Go Masters

As the old joke goes: Microgaming are not complete idiots, some parts are missing. However with the World Sit & Go Masters they’re doing something unique to the live poker scene. This event, which has the bonus of a more modest package price of €3,800, is tailored for the much ignored Sit & Go player and promises a weekend packed with poker at a great destination.

Taking place over 4 qualifying Sit & Go Tournaments (based on previous events) the top finishers play out a 2 table tournament to decide the World Sit & Go Master. If you’ve ever travelled to a live event and busted early doors you’ll definitely appreciate this. For those that don’t make the final there will be a €550 MTT and there is also the traditional Turbo MTT curtain raiser.

The crucial thing though is the Sit & Go Championship which in the past has awarded over €30,000 to the winners. Most sites and networks provide little for the regular Sit & Go player apart from the odd bankroll destroying fee races. Nobody else provides a live event that targets Sit & Go players specifically and with online qualifiers starting next month from just 20c you could do a lot worse than add this to your ‘to do’ list.
